We are thrilled that you are interested in proposing a topic for a conference presentation. Below you can see the design so that you know as potential presenter/s how to plan for your presentation effectively. Sessions total duration: 40 – 50 min

As you can see the sessions are designed as a presentation not a discussion, the discussion will happen on the CoLab community space after the presentation. What the Hosting team will provide
Members of the hosting team will provide an event branded presentation template for you to use, they will cover the introduction and conclusion of the session as well as taking question from the audience, tech support, recording, time-keeping notices and housekeeping notices. We will also collect feedback from participants which we can share with you after the event.
We are not promising upfront that we can pay for your contribution and therefore ask that you either volunteer your time to do this or find your own way to fund your contribution to the event. If we sell enough tickets we would also use profits to pay the speakers. For this possibility you would need to be able to receive payments through Open Collective via WISE or IBAN bank transfer. We will provide a free combined ticket event for presenters to enjoy all Conference and Convergence events (excluding ticketed workshops).
What we expect you to include in your Conference Presentation Proposal
Complete all fields, most importantly a description of the presentation which describes the theme of the session and what the presentation aims to address.
What we expect from you on the day
We expect presenters to complete and submit their presentation slides at least 3 weeks before the event, and to show up to their events at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, this will help us troubleshoot the technology before the event starts.
We expect your full cooperation with the hosting team who will be doing their best to ensure all events are running on time and within session design outlined above.
